Safaris and Tours tailor made to your requirements
Karoo Safaris(reference Wozani KW231)
Our first stop will be at the vineyards of the Hex (witch) River Valley with kilometers upon kilometers of export table grapes. This valley produces 41% of South Africa's table grapes.
During the harvest season (January to May) you will be allowed to pick your own grapes from the vineyards. Out of season we will visit the winery and packshed or visit some rock art in the area.
Our next stop will be at the Aquila Safari Farm with their luxury game park with Giraffe, Rhino, Lions, Zebra, Crocodiles and many more. Here we will also visit some San rock art sites.
We will overnight at their luxury safari lodge.
For two days our base will be at Skurweberg (rugged mountain) Guest Farm.
From here we will visit the biggest observatory in South Africa, do a 4x4
safari, go searching for some extremely scare plants and flowers that occur
nowhere else in the world. From the top of a mountain you will experience the
most beautiful view you can ever think of seeing on this planet. We will also
visit the only burnt out volcano south of the equator and do fossil
searching.Day 4; We wil reluctantly start our return journey of this safari,
stopping at the Tuinplaas (garden farm) church where the local trek farmers have
communion once a year.
Then we proceed to the small Victorian town of Matjiesfontein and do a tractor tour of the town with one of the local guides and then head back for Cape Town.
